Description

1. Introduction The question of what constitute the best methods for educating healthcare professionals in a rapidly changing environment is the subject of worldwide debate [1-5]. Researchers and educators are aware of the need to use diverse teaching methods to improve the abilities of students with varied individual characteristics and needs [6]. Thus, over the past 30 years, teaching methods and educational programs designed in a problem-based and learner-centred manner have become common in medical, nursing, and health services curricular [3,7]. They have also been introduced into occupational therapy programs as an adjunct or alternative to the traditional didactic, classroom-based model of teaching [8-10].
